Carmel Ceramica was established in 2014 when Elece Leverone combined her passions for business and product design to create a new venture in giftware and tabletop décor.

With a background in founding and running an information technology company in Los Angeles, Elece later developed a deep appreciation for the artistic world. After relocating to Carmel, California, she pursued ceramics at a local college, which quickly became a passion. This led her to build a studio in her barn, where she began crafting prototypes. As her creativity expanded, so did the vision for what would become Carmel Ceramica.
