Ingredients
- 1 3/4 lbs beef chuck
- 2 carrots
- 8 cloves of garlic
- 3.5 oz mushrooms
- 1/2 onion
- 4 strips of bacon
- 5.3 oz tomatoes
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 1/3 cups red wine
- 2 tsp beef stock (or salt to taste)
- Parsley (optional)


Cut the beef into generous pieces and season with salt and pepper.


Cut 8 cloves of garlic, 1-2 carrots, 3.5 oz mushrooms, 1/2 onion, 4 strips of bacon, and 5.3 oz tomatoes into bite-sized pieces.


Heat olive oil in a pot, sear the beef until deeply browned.


Once the beef is partially cooked, add the garlic, mushrooms, onion, carrots, bacon, and tomatoes, stirring to combine.


Add 2 tbsp of flour and stir well to coat evenly.


Pour in 2 1/3 cups red wine, add 2 tsp of salt (or 2 tsp of beef stock), stir well, then cover and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
