Chicken Porridge

Posted by Cozy Sage on

Ingredients
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 4 spoonful of raw rice (using a rice measuring cup)
  • Cooking wine
  • Water (enough to cover chicken)
  • 6 small carrots
  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 small green onion
  • 1 tsp chicken stock or 1 stock cube
  • 1 tsp salt

Marinate chicken in cooking wine, add water to cover, and bring to a boil.

Remove any impurities floating on top of the water as the chicken boils.

Chop 6 small carrots, 1/2 onion, and 1 small green onion.

Remove the chicken from the pot and shred it.

Add raw rice to the chicken broth.

Add 1 tsp chicken stock and 1 tsp salt.

Return the shredded chicken to the pot.

Put the pre-cut vegetables into the pot and stir well.

Add water to adjust consistency. If the porridge becomes too thick, add water little by little while stirring until it reaches your desired consistency.

Enjoy your meal, especially when you're feeling sick or need something warm and comforting!
