Ingredients
- 1/2 onion
- Butter
- 25 oz mussels
- 1 1/4 cups white wine
- Red pepper flakes
- Salt
- Clam stock powder
- Pasta (type and amount of your choice)
Instruction
- In a pot of boiling water with salt, cook 2–3 servings of pasta.
- While pasta cooks, sauté chopped onion in olive oil and butter until soft.
- Add mussels and cook briefly.
- Pour in white wine and red pepper flakes; season with salt.
- Add more butter and let it simmer.
- Drain the pasta and toss it into the mussel stew.
- Add clam stock powder for deeper flavor, if desired.
