Posted by Cozy Sage on

Ingredients
  • Asparagus spears
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Lemon (optional)

Trim about 1 inch off the ends.

Peel the lower part of the asparagus with a vegetable peeler for a more tender texture.

Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a heated pan.

Add 1 tbsp of minced garlic and sauté.

Place the asparagus in the pan.

Season with salt to taste and stir-fry over high heat for 2-3 minutes or medium heat for 3-4 minutes.

Add 1 tsp of soy sauce and immediately turn off the heat, then coat the asparagus with the soy sauce.

Remove from the pan and drizzle 1 tsp of balsamic vinegar over the asparagus.

Drizzle lemon juice (optional).

Simple & delicious!
