Beef Bourguignon

<This is about enough for 4 servings>

 

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lbs beef chuck
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 cups red wine
  • Bay leaves
  • Herbs (rosemary recommended)
  • 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp butter

 

Instruction
  1. Cut 2 carrots into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Slice 1 onion into thin pieces.
  3. Cut 4-5 cloves of garlic into small pieces.
  4. Cut 4 slices of bacon into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Cut 1.5 pounds of beef chuck into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Sauté the bacon, onion, and carrots in oil, then pour in 2 cups of red wine.
  7. Add bay leaves, herbs (rosemary recommended), 2 tbsp tomato sauce, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, and 1.5 tbsp butter. Let it simmer.
