Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 1/3 cups soy sauce
- 2/3 cup cooking wine
- 2/3 cup allulose (or sugar)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2/3 tbsp minced ginger
- 2/3 cup chopped green onion
- 1 tbsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 radish
- 1 carrot
- Shiitake mushrooms
- 2 small green onions
- 1 onion
- Shishito peppers (optional)
Instruction
- Soak the beef ribs in cold water for 1 hour to remove the blood.
- Mix soy sauce, cooking wine, allulose (sugar), minced garlic, minced ginger, chopped green onion, black pepper, and sesame oil to make the sauce.
- Pour the sauce over the ribs and bring it to a boil.
- Add 1 1/2 cups of water, then add bite-sized radish and carrots and simmer.
- Prepare shiitake mushrooms (optional cross-cut), green onions, and onion.
- Add the mushrooms, green onions, and onion. Adjust seasoning with water if too salty.
- Add stemmed shishito peppers (optional) and simmer until all vegetables are tender.
