Mashed Potato

<This is about enough for 4 servings>

 

Ingredients
  • 4 potatoes
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Heavy cream (as needed)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Potato skins (optional)

 

Instruction
  1. Peel 4 potatoes and boil them until fully cooked and tender.
  2. Mash the boiled potatoes until smooth.
  3. In a small pan, melt 4 tbsp of butter and continue to cook until it turns golden brown and nutty in aroma.
  4. In a separate pot, simmer the potato skins with a splash of heavy cream to infuse flavor (optional but recommended).
  5. Gradually mix the brown butter and warm heavy cream into the mashed potatoes until you reach your desired taste and texture.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
