Ingredients
- 1.4 lbs pork ribs
- Carrots
- Green onions
- 1 chili pepper
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp cooking wine
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- 1 tbsp Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1/4 tbsp minced ginger
- Black pepper
- Bay leaves
- Sesame oil
- Anchovy broth coin (optional)
Instruction
- Wash the pork ribs, carrots, green onions, and chili pepper under running water.
- Cut the vegetables into small pieces.
- Boil the ribs briefly with a few bay leaves to remove any odor.
- Once it comes to a boil, discard the water and rinse the ribs under cold water.
- In a pot, add the ribs, about 2 cups of water, the sauce ingredients, and the anchovy broth coin (optional).
- Add the chopped vegetables and drizzle with sesame oil.
- Simmer over medium heat until the sauce is rich and the meat is tender.
